Claiming a namespace record is free, and always will be. So is maintaining it: your policy, your endpoints, your asserted fields - first-party, confirmed, and free for every TLD in the root.
Zone Sync is the one thing ZoneProof charges namespace stewards for: ingesting your zone file and refreshing it on a schedule, so the listed zone in your record stays current with the zone you actually run. You're not paying for status - a synced record is characterized exactly like any other. You're paying for freshness.

What every tier includes
Every tier is the same service at a different scale: scheduled refresh, delegated names only - never WHOIS or registrant contact data - and the listed zone exposed through the record, the API, and the MCP server.
gTLD zones available through ICANN's centralized zone data service refresh daily. Opt-in ccTLD zones refresh on submission.
What happens if a subscription ends
The record stays claimed and free, always. The zone listing freezes with a visible last-synced date, and after a defined window the listed zone ages out of the record. A listing that says when it was last true is honest; one that silently goes stale is not. Trust that never expires is not trust - that applies to our data too.
